Driving along...

Driving to work this morning not causing anybody any harm. I am the only car on this secondary highway. Next thing I know a white truck pulls out in front of me and slows down. I am going the speed limit but I have to slow down too. There is no one behind me and I have to wonder "What was the hurry that this truck had to pull out in front of me only to slow me down?". I try to be a courteous driver but this kind of move just doesn't make sense! Why do people do this?

Just while I am on the topic of driving, does everyone know what directionals are for or have they started eliminating them from vehicles because I just don't see them the way I used to. My Driver's Ed. teacher always said that just because the directional signal is on does not mean they are actually going to turn and I have found this to be true as well.

Maybe mandatory driving tests held every 5 - 10 years may not be a bad thing...hmmm.
